Clarification for you wonderful alumnae in response to questions:
If you are an ALUMNA who RESIDES IN MICHIGAN:
Lori requests you attend at least 1 of the 3 rehearsals, preferably on APRIL 16 and the dress rehearsal at the minimum. You're encouraged to be at all three listed dates if possible.
If you are an ALUMNA who resides OUTSIDE OF MICHIGAN:
Lori will ask you to meet up with her ahead of the dress rehearsal but you must be at the dress rehearsal for the allotted alumna rehearsal time.
Can you use music? We haven't used music in many years, and would really prefer you memorize. We will try to get you as much help as possible but if you must use music we are not likely to throw you out. Please have it in a black folder.
GRWC CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF PASSION.PURPOSE.SONG
2015-16 is our 20th season performing as the Grand Rapids Women's Chorus! As a way to celebrate, this year's repertoire will feature many songs that are audience favorites from past concerts. We have also planned several events this year to bring our joy of singing to our concert attendees. The first big event happened on December 4 and 5. Our annual Winter Concert was performed two nights instead of the usual one. We had two wonderful audiences and twice the fun! If anyone took some good photos, we'll be posting them soon.
Next on the 20th season calendar is a collaborative event on Sunday, April 24 with the Aquinas College Chorus. Here's a link to our Events page. We'll post more details on this upcoming concert as they are available.
And of course, we'll be preparing for the next few months to present our Annual Spring Concert on May 21, 2016 at the East Grand Rapids Performing Arts Center. The December concert gave a preview of what to expect - and entertaining and enlightening evening. SAVE THE DATE!
